About the job:

You\’ll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before completing a shift of multi-drop parcel delivery (up to 60 drops per day) using vehicles up to transit size. You will be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and will also act as your routing system, optimizing your round for efficiency. This role is based at the Wigan site, so residing locally is required.

About You:

Upbeat and self-motivated, you\’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. You should have a strong sense of community and enjoy flexible working patterns. Since we deliver parcels in all weather conditions, you should like being outdoors regardless of the weather. An interest in staying active and keeping fit is a plus. Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.

Driving Licence Requirements:

• A full UK manual driving licence (at your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points. A clean licence is preferred. You will need to show this at assessment.

Other Requirements:

• DBS check to be cleared prior to starting.
