The predicted salary is between 35500 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a three-year fixed-term contract until July 2028 within the Safeguarding Structures Team of the Church of England. The team operates under the Archbishops' Council and is responsible for developing and overseeing safeguarding and scrutiny structures.

Responsibilities

  • Write policy papers on the scrutiny aspects of safeguarding structures, including research, analysis, and policy recommendations.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory and scrutiny body functions, ensuring alignment with statutory and best practice models.
  • Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Develop policies incorporating accountability, transparency, and enforcement mechanisms.
  • Analyze legislative and operational frameworks to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Incorporate feedback from victims and survivors through dedicated officers and meetings.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across various fields to ensure comprehensive policy development.

Candidate Profile
