Position Overview: Platform Applications Specialists (PAS) at Squarepoint play a crucial role in delivering and maintaining mission-critical platform infrastructure using the DevOps methodology. As part of the DevTools team, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain development tooling services used across the firm.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with software development (e.g., Python, Git).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience with system administration (e.g., Bash, Linux, Containerization).
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
