Position: Platform Engineer
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers. This includes tasks like setting up hardware, installing operating systems, managing network settings, and ensuring the servers run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in managing on-prem and cloud deployments (AWS).
- Familiarity with vendor tool automation in Windows/Linux both on-prem and cloud.
- Experience in install automation/scripting: Python, Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Automation and management of repeatable builds/silent installs.
BI Administration:
- Experience with administration of one or more BI tools (more than one preferred).
- Automation of monitoring and alerting.
- Troubleshooting/investigation of performance and product outages.
- Ability to work with the vendor to troubleshoot issues.
- (Preferred) Experience with SaaS BI Tools (Power BI/Tableau Cloud), integration, and management of bridge/tunneling components.
Mandatory Skills:
