Piping Designer

Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security industry, is currently seeking a Detail Designer – Piping to join their team. This is a 12-month contract position based at their site in Scotstoun, with a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days per week onsite.

Job Requirements:

• Piping Design
• Experience in Defence industry
• Knowledge of Foran (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs and layouts for piping systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance
• Create 2D and 3D models using design software
• Produce accurate technical documentation
• Conduct thorough quality checks on designs
• Adhere to project timelines and budgets
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
