Job Description:

A dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher is sought by a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Islington. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5 with the fundamental principles of physics and its applications in the world around them.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring understanding of core concepts.
• Foster a stimulating, inquiry-based learning environment encouraging scientific exploration and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialization in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background.
• Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level; A-Level experience is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly and engagingly.
• Inner London Payscale.
