Job Overview

Healthcare professionals are needed to provide medical services to support the military treatment facilities and health clinics within US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other DoD agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.

Note:

Orthotist – specializes in providing care to patients with disabling conditions of the limbs and spine by fitting orthotic devices.

Prosthetist – specializes in providing care to patients with limb loss by fitting prosthetic devices.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor\’s in pharmacy
• Education: Graduate from an ACPE-accredited college or university
• Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience or three months of rotations in a military pharmacy prior to graduation
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted pharmacist license

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services
• Counsel patients on medication use
• Review patient profiles and monitor medication therapy
• Ensure appropriate prescription directions and medication safety
• Intervene with providers for discrepancies
• Compound medications as needed
• Ensure accuracy and supervise inventory control
• Maintain records and security of controlled substances

Support Status

This position is eligible for support under NATO SOFA articles 72 or 73.
