Job Title: Permanent Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon, York Job Details Type: Mixed Practice – 75% farm, 5% horse work, 20% pets Location: Small market town near York, North Yorkshire Practice Facilities: Recently built small animal surgery with modern equipment including in-house biochemistry, critical care analyser, endoscopes, digital radiography, ECG, dental radiography, and ultrasonography. Team: 20-vet practice with a shared duty rota among 12 vets, supported by high-calibre staff including RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs. Role: Varied work with flexibility to focus on areas of enthusiasm; includes all species out of hours with support from a dedicated nurse. Hours: Duty rota includes both first and second call, evenly shared among vets. Support & Benefits: Large farm client base, regular fertility visits, spacious premises, competitive salary, and other benefits to be discussed.
