Job Description:
KPMG is expanding its Tax and Legal practice to support clients with their pension obligations. Our pensions team collaborates with over 2,400 Tax and Legal professionals. We are seeking a talented and experienced Consultant to join our pensions actuarial team, focusing on delivering high-quality advice on defined benefit pension schemes in the private sector.
The role involves working closely with senior team members and providing services such as:
- Strategic planning and risk management for pension schemes
- Funding advice and compliance with DB funding code
- Pension due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
- Member education and communication
- Advice on benefit design, changes, and governance
- Pensions accounting advice
Role Responsibilities:
- Understanding of defined benefit pension schemes and actuarial liabilities
- Data analysis using actuarial techniques and models
- Producing technical actuarial work adhering to standards and quality procedures
- Assessing reasonableness of assumptions and results with internal tools
- Drafting reports and emails based on outputs
- Supporting case management and project delivery within timelines
- Developing technical knowledge and maintaining communication within the team
- Financial management, billing, and debt collection
