PE Tutor

We are seeking qualified Physical Education tutors for one-to-one tuition up to GCSE level to support EOTAS students (Education Other Than At School) in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Role Overview

1. Support pupils who are not currently attending mainstream education or are working towards re-entering the system.
2. Assist pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism and emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties.
3. Work as part of the Engagement, Wellbeing and Attainment team, providing support at pupils\’ homes or in Learning Centres.
4. The role is predominantly supportive, with some teaching and guidance when necessary.
5. This position is 3 days per week, with potential for increased hours or full-time supply work on non-teaching days.
6. Access to transport is essential for travel to pupils\’ homes and learning centres.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a PGCE or PCET qualification.
• Ability to teach up to GCSE level Physical Education.
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN, Autism, and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
• Pastoral care experience within education is preferred.
