Part Time Accounts & Tax Manager, Royal Tunbridge Wells

TPF Recruitment is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in central Tunbridge Wells, seeking a Part Time Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team. The role involves managing a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies, with support from multiple partners and a team of junior staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both compliance and advisory services, working closely with expert tax advisors for complex work. This position offers a great work-life balance and the autonomy to manage your portfolio effectively.

Responsibilities include:

1. Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns.
2. Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
3. Manage client portfolios and maintain client relations.
4. Oversee and review work of junior staff and bookkeepers.
5. Onboard new clients and assist with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation.
