Painter & Decorator

Position: Painter

Responsibilities:

1. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
2. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
3. Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
4. Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
5. Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment properly.
6. Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.

Qualifications:

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification necessary.

• Provide excellent guest service, addressing needs and expressing appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and support team goals.
• Perform physical activities including reaching, bending, twisting, and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
