We work directly with leading blue-chip clients across power, water, telecoms, and rail sectors. We are seeking talented individuals to join our expanding team. Location: Reading, covering the M4 corridor from the M25 to Bath. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Linesmen to strengthen our new connections OHL division. The primary focus will be on LV and 11kV work, with some 33kV projects. Existing Scottish and Southern Energy Networks operational authorizations are essential and can be further developed through in-house training.
Responsibilities:
- Constructing new overhead lines, upgrading existing networks, and dismantling old infrastructure for new underground cables at LV, 11kV, and 33kV.
- Ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to standards in all work performed.
- Maintaining personal safety and the safety of colleagues.
- Promoting a safety-first culture.
- Completing paperwork and updating tablet-based works management systems.
Skills & Experience:
- SSEN Operational Authorisations
- Experience working on OHL at multiple voltages
- NRSWA accreditations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
