Outsourced Senior Accountant, Surrey

Qualified Accountant, with outsourcing experience, required for innovative accountancy practice based in the Camberley area. You’ll work with the Managing Director, providing outsourced financial functions for clients.

You’ll be based in the office, with an extremely friendly team, supporting their clients’ evolving needs.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing statutory accounts, and corporate and personal tax returns.
• Managing all accounting operations.
• Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
• Producing reports to identify results, trends, and forecasts; examining for discrepancies.
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations, and supervising and managing financial department staff.
• Additional responsibilities which will be provided with a job specification on application.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an ‘outsourced’ finance function in an accountancy practice advantageous.
• Detailed working knowledge of accounting and auditing issues.
• Excellent knowledge of VAT rules.
• ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly accountancy practice, but with the added benefit of working as an outsourced accountant. Although office based, this practice recognizes flexibility will be needed at times.
