Job Description

This hands-on, rewarding role involves working closely with male patients and carers on light construction projects. Supported by Palliative Care Workers, sessions may be conducted in small groups or one-on-one.

  • Assist male patients and carers with tasks such as making, repairing, or repurposing items, e.g., crafting bird boxes or small gifts.
  • Design and deliver structured, engaging activities tailored to participants’ interests and abilities, which may be one-off or series sessions.
  • Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
