What is the Programme?
It’s for 2 years. You will be involved in live projects that deliver what matters. This role supports the strategic decision making for all areas of the airport and provides insights through data. Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) to help build resilience in the workplace.
The Sales and Operational Planning team are integral to business objectives. They maximise growth while minimising capital investment. This programme is at the heart of the operation, supporting the delivery of stable operations.
Department activities include managing the airport capacity, forecasting passenger demand, passenger flow and airfield simulation, and setting out future infrastructure requirements.
Year 1
- Undertake assessment involving data collection, data interpretation and data validation to enhance decision making
- Delivery of daily, weekly & seasonal operational plans, forecasts and reports
- Actively develop new models and processes to support decision making
- Deliver day to day performance reporting for operational functional units, providing necessary analysis to enable improvement
Year 2
- Support analysis of capacity requirements focused on the timeframe from one year out (declaration), to the longer term (5-10yrs business plan)
- Support the implementation and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects to drive productivity and efficiency across operations, commercial and capital functions and increase operational capacity.

- Minimum 2:1 degree in maths, engineering, computer science, or operational research related subjects (Graduated 2024 or projected for 2025)

- An assessment centre with group and individual activities as well as a behaviour-based interview with the opportunity to meet managers and explore the airport.
