Position: Newly Qualified Occupational Therapist – Education/College

Salary: Up to £36,483 per annum depending on experience

Type: Permanent, Full-time (52 weeks); Part-time/38 weeks considered

Location

Cambian Lufton College, a specialist college for young adults aged 16 to 25, provides specialist further education and residential care in the South West. The college supports students with Autism, moderate to severe learning disabilities, and a range of emotional, behavioural, and complex needs.

Job Role

1. Work alongside an established multidisciplinary team including clinicians, care, and education staff.
2. Contribute to the development of the occupational therapy provision.
3. Provide quality assessments, reports, and needs-led interventions for young people under supervision from a Highly Specialist OT.
4. Collaborate with education and care colleagues to embed strategies across the environment.
5. Maintain a hands-on approach, demonstrating strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
6. Organize and manage your time effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist.
• Possess a degree or postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the HCPC and RCOT.
• Experience working with young people with diverse needs.
