Euroclear has an exciting opportunity for a Non-Functional Testing Engineer to join our busy UK Testing Squad. The successful candidate will assist the Product Owners to shape, lead, and manage Non-Functional test requirements and build a sound and thorough Non-Functional testing practice.
Applicants must have hands-on experience with implementing and updating test strategies, Resilience, Disaster Recovery, CPU Usage, Microservices, security, Alerting, Monitoring, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the definition and testing of non-functional requirements (NFRs) as part of the Technology transformation (JAVA, KAFKA, Linux, Cloud, API).
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are clearly defined and are testable.
- Define and articulate the Non-Functional Test Strategy.
- Design and execute NFR testing cycles, coordinating efforts with external teams until bottleneck resolution through root cause examination. Document test results and compile results into consolidated high-level reports.
Skillsets:
- Experience of working as a Non-Functional Tester, ideally within Financial Services.
- Demonstrate experience working within large-scale Technology Implementation or change.
- Extensive knowledge of non-functional testing including performance, Scalability, reliability, Failover/Disaster Recovery, and accessibility testing.
- Extensive experience of using testing tools such as Performance Center/Loadrunner, ADS, Selenium, and Xray.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive non-functional test approaches/plans and cases.
- Hands-on experience of agile Development practices, DevOps pipelines, continuous integration/deployment, and test automation.
