Job Description:

NHS LOCUM CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGY 12 MONTH FIXED TERM VACANCY

We have been asked by an NHS Foundation Trust in the East of England to help them recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist on a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Located near some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK with excellent schools and lovely coastline.

Our client is recognised as an exemplar employer by BAPIO and offers outstanding health and wellbeing initiatives to support its staff and supports its Consultants to apply for Fellowship to which they are an affiliated member.

There is strong collaboration with the Upper and Lower GI surgical teams to provide effective management of Gastroenterology patients, including an established MDT structure, stoma nurses and Specialist GI Radiology service.

Colon capsule endoscopy is done onsite together with ERCP and GI stent procedures are done in dedicated intervention screening lists.
