Job Description:
This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK\’s leading providers of digital background music to the commercial sector. We are an independent, owner-managed business with over twenty years\’ experience delivering the playlists and music players that shape some of the UK\’s leading brands. Our music profiles are played in businesses across the UK, Europe, and the world.
We work with world leaders in the retail, hospitality, and leisure industries, helping our clients make and maintain a genuine and lasting connection with their customers.
On the back of significant investment in people and new technology, we are looking to add to our new business development sales team to maximise our sales momentum. Recent investment has extended our product offering to allow us to address the needs of a wider, global commercial audience at every price and product point. Our goal is to target and service large, high-profile brands on a global basis.
Our expectation is to hire a proactive individual who will spend their time developing leads and building and maintaining relationships across all the sectors we target. While our offices are in Clerkenwell, we believe the best relationships are developed face-to-face and we anticipate a significant amount of time will be spent out of the office.
C-Burn has been delivering bespoke music solutions and high-quality music players since 1998. From our formation to the present day, our own brand identity is built on delivering high fidelity sound quality combined with highly specified, bespoke music curation to provide unique atmospheres and brand sounds.
We\’re looking for an exceptional salesperson, someone who will aggressively grow our new business income by selling our digital music services into many more businesses in the UK and internationally. We want someone who has the flair and creativity needed to demonstrate to bars, brands, and venues how our expertise to create the perfect atmosphere has stood the test of time, and continues to innovate and deliver the consistent service the sectors we serve demand.
C-Burn specialises in making our clients successful by creating the customer experience foundation for our clients to build upon. We have a reputation for providing high-quality hardware (reliability is essential), creating bespoke playlists (that stay on brand), and continually innovating our products and services to adapt to the changing needs of our clients.
To apply for this role, you will:
- Be a proven cold lead, new business developer, great at building relationships and developing partnerships with decision makers at all levels.
- Be highly accountable and proactive.
- Have an excellent track record of at least four years in one or more of the following; Enterprise Sales, B2B SaaS, or another subscription-based solution.
- Be skilled in conceptual selling and be well versed in sales methodology such as MEDDIC, SPIN, and/or Inbound Selling.
- Be proficient at lead management, using cloud-based software such as Salesforce.
- Have specific experience selling background music and/or other site-specific or operational equipment and services into UK and global brands would be very useful.
Internally, you\’ll understand the importance of being a strong team player, familiar with using tools like Salesforce, Trello, and Slack to track sales metrics, collaborate, and communicate with colleagues.
In return, we offer a generous basic salary and excellent working conditions.
Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit. Check our Blog for more information.
