About the role

This is a part-time, 24-month fixed-term contract, offering 20 hours per week. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative, operational, membership, communications, and events support to UPEN. It acts as a central hub to facilitate internal operations, foster strong member relationships, and ensure effective communication and outreach.

The post holder will report to the Head of Membership and Network Development and work closely with the Head of Operations and Head of Communications and Impact. The role requires navigating a developing and fast-paced environment and contributing to building the organisation\’s foundation.

About you

This busy role requires adaptability, quick information assimilation, and the ability to establish support networks across UCL. Excellent attention to detail, superb organisational skills, and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels are essential. You should proactively maintain records of information and impact, reporting clearly to key stakeholders.

You should have proven experience supporting senior management in a large, complex, and preferably member-led organisation. Demonstrable experience managing multiple audiences and stakeholders, supporting activities including events, and a good working knowledge of organisational finance are required.

This role is at UCL Grade 7 and is part-time, with a pro-rated salary banding of £23,000 – £28,000.
