Midweight Designer – Growth Team.

THE ROLE. We are looking for a midweight level Graphic Designer with strong experience in creating screen-based presentations, printed marketing materials, pitch collateral, and social media assets. Under the guidance of the team Creative Director, you will work on new business pitches and marketing projects for all agency brands within the network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Creative Presentation Design: Support in the development of visually impactful and engaging PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas, data, and information. Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and design elements throughout all presentations. Understand how to apply content to templated presentation assets. Help develop templates that can be used by non-designers across the business.
  • Editorial Layout, Marketing Assets & Social Media: Design high-quality marketing assets, including brochures, posters, and social media graphics. Conceptualise and execute innovative layouts for a range of printed and screen-based marketing collateral. Ensure every document has a cohesive and compelling visual narrative. Support the wider marketing team in creating engaging assets for our social media channels. Have a solid working knowledge of typographic layout and visualising complex data.
  • Design Support for Client Pitches and Corporate Events: Support in the creation of compelling designs for corporate events, ensuring a seamless integration of branding elements. Collaborate with the events team to understand requirements and deliver designs that enhance the overall event experience. Design support for high-level agency pitches – including large scale print assets, presentations, and printed collateral.
  • General: Conduct thorough quality checks on all design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines. Take responsibility for multiple tasks, projects, and priorities to ensure they are all delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. Be involved at all stages of the creative process - from interpreting a brief, through to creating concepts, setting the visual style, and delivering creative to the required formats. Assist in taking projects through to completion, under the guidance of senior level designers and our studio manager.

QUALIFICATIONS.

  • A relevant design qualification.
  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in PowerPoint presentations, editorial layout, marketing assets, corporate events, and branding.
  • Good foundational understanding of design principles such as composition, typography, and colour theory.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

TEAM. Work collaboratively and effectively within a multi-disciplinary marketing team. Develop a trusting, respectful and professional relationship with fellow team members and key stakeholders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Previous agency or freelance experience in a similar role.
  • Strong presentation design skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce work to a high standard.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience exporting print-ready artwork.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • An eye for understanding the graphic requirements of a project.
  • Passion for design trends and relentless desire to generate new ideas.
  • Flexible to work outside normal office hours as required.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Great layout aesthetic.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Team player.

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL. Understanding of designing microsites within the Squarespace platform. An interest in developing motion graphics skills or experience using After Effects. Understanding and experience of large Media/Creative agency working environments.
