Job Responsibilities

  • Product Backlog Management: Plan and groom the product backlog to ensure each sprint delivers maximum value in the shortest time. Act as the voice of the business to the product team and resolve impediments. Find innovative product solutions through procurement or development to deliver business value.
  • Team Support and Sprint Management: Lead and support the product team during sprint playbacks to meet business expectations. Facilitate sprint retrospectives to address impediments and improve processes, maximizing team velocity without compromising quality.
  • Item Readiness and Completion: Ensure all backlog items meet the definition of ready before sprint entry—proper sizing, complete stories, and agreed acceptance criteria. Confirm that all items meet the definition of done before the sprint demo.
  • Product SME Role: Communicate product value, features, and benefits to the business. Support the Product Line Strategy Owner in defining and prioritizing the product roadmap. Identify new opportunities to deliver business value and contribute to solution design.
  • Advocacy and Continuous Improvement: Act as the voice of the product team to leadership, highlighting challenges and opportunities to improve agile processes. Promote team activities and successes.
  • Professional Development: Maintain ongoing learning to stay current with emerging technologies.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry/project management experience.
  • Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva MES, SCADA, System Platform, InTouch, or similar industrial control systems; familiarity with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PLCs.
  • Understanding of MES software development lifecycle and support methodologies.
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, migrations, maintenance, troubleshooting, FAT, and SAT for MES/SCADA projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking topologies (Ethernet, serial, wireless) is preferred.
  • Experience with databases, especially Microsoft SQL.
