Adding to a design team can be key to enhancing team dynamics, especially when seeking experienced professionals. Our client, who has expanded twofold in as many years and has consistently hit targets and won new business over the last four years, is looking to secure a Menswear Jersey Designer within a team of 15 (including boys\’ wear). With a proven track record in high street Menswear, this designer will work closely with the team across fast fashion retailers and supermarket accounts worldwide. You will play a key role in buyer meetings, helping retailers identify seasonal trends and guiding their choices. You will be a vital part of the team, mentoring juniors and supporting senior designers and a design manager. Hybrid working can be discussed after a 3-month probation period.

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

• Recent and solid experience designing jersey products within UK high street supply or high street retailers.
• Comfortable and experienced working across all levels of high street retailers.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics and trims.
• Experience attending buyer meetings, researching trends, and developing sellable ranges.
• Experience working with overseas factories.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• London-based or very commutable (within 45 minutes to East London) and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years.
