VANRATH have exclusively partnered with a well-known and long established company that is a leader in their field. The organisation is recruiting for a Marketing and Events Executive position.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, the Marketing & Events Executive is an important role within the business that will help boost the company profile through events and marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will be experienced with both traditional and digital marketing campaigns as well as event management.
Hours:
Monday – Friday
9am – 5pm (Early finish Friday)
Salary:
£25,000 – £30,000 plus a fantastic benefits package and BONUS
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with key stakeholders to develop a strategic marketing plan in line with key objectives and establish KPIs for evaluation.
- Help raise brand awareness and secure new sales across markets.
- Writing and proofreading creative copy.
- Maintaining websites and tracking data analytics.
- Coordinate the logistics of UK and International regional shows and events, including booking events, packing event resources, managing external couriers and raising purchase orders.
- Support organisation of logistics for larger scale National events and conferences.
- Regularly adding leads and activity information accurately to the CRM database.
- Create event briefs and objectives documents for events or marketing campaigns.
- Create and schedule social media posts.
- Mail campaigns to existing and new customers.
- Sending out marketing collateral to customers/prospects when required.
- Have a passion for marketing with a working knowledge of key industry tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and SEO.
- Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with a proactive and flexible approach.
Ideal Criteria:
- Educated to degree in a Marketing, Event Management, PR or Comms related subject.
- 1-2 years marketing / event management experience.
- A self-starter with ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail, ability to work at pace with accuracy.
- Strong user of IT systems and packages.
- Experience running social media accounts and video editing.
