About this role

This leading architecture practice designs and creates high-quality, people-focused, sustainable buildings that enhance their surroundings. They work across multiple sectors and are well established in the industry.

They are now looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their studio in Farringdon. This is a newly created role aimed at strengthening and integrating their marketing and communications activities. You will work closely with the wider operations team, an external PR agency, and the internal team of architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications plan
  • Work collaboratively to develop and roll out refreshed brand guidelines
  • Build and enhance best practice case studies, bids, awards, and testimonials
  • Support the development of new business
  • Coordinate internal events and communications
  • Manage award entries and representation at ceremonies/events
  • Develop and maintain relations with editors and industry journalists
  • Collaborate with the external PR Agency
  • Develop and execute a digital strategy
  • Leverage social and digital channels
  • Keep the website up-to-date
  • Prepare monthly updates for the leadership team with quarterly reviews

Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualified in a relevant communications subject or hold a CIM or CIPR professional qualification
  • Copy editing skills
  • At least five years’ experience in a fast-paced communications role, preferably in architecture or the built environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams on multiple projects
  • Extensive experience in content creation including thought leadership, insights, videos, infographics, emails, and sales enablement tools
