About this role
This leading architecture practice designs and creates high-quality, people-focused, sustainable buildings that enhance their surroundings. They work across multiple sectors and are well established in the industry.
They are now looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their studio in Farringdon. It is a newly created role which they hope will help to strengthen and integrate their marketing and communications activity. You will work closely with the wider operations team, as well as an external PR agency and the internal team of architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications plan.
- Work collaboratively to develop and roll out refreshed brand guidelines.
- Build and enhance best practice case studies, bids, awards, and testimonials.
- Support the development of new business.
- Help coordinate internal events and communications.
- Coordinate and manage award entries and representation at ceremonies/events.
- Develop and maintain excellent relations with editors and industry journalists.
- Work closely with the external PR Agency.
- Develop a digital strategy and execute.
- Leverage social and digital channels.
- Ensure the website is kept up-to-date at all times.
- Prepare monthly updates to the leadership team with a quarterly review.
Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified in a relevant communications subject or hold a CIM or CIPR professional qualification.
- Copy editing.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a fast-paced communications role preferably in architecture or the built environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative, organised, and proactive with a proven ability to steer key stakeholders and engage cross-functional teams on concurrent projects.
- Extensive experience of content creation including thought leadership, insights, video, infographics, email, and sales enablers.
