As a desktop engineer, assemble and install client desktop computers and assist end-users in securing their hardware. Provide hands-on support for IT support teams on activities like maintenance, hardware, software, and network queries. Support daily technical activities for computers and end-point devices. Update support tickets with progress details. Set up and test desktop peripherals. Perform system changes in accordance with organizational policies. Conduct remote troubleshooting for end-users and maintain documentation tickets. Maintain technical documentation in collaboration with other departments. Technical Skills include: Hardware and Networking: Troubleshoot hardware issues across multiple vendor products. Physical support for mounting hardware, basic connectivity setup. Install remote tools like Putty for device connectivity. Replace hardware components such as HDD and memory. Use assessment tools to identify hardware models and test image compatibility. Windows OS, Exchange, Mobility Clients, Printer management, Backup and Recovery, Audio/Video support, Endpoint Security.
