Your new company
A highly commercial property investment company with a UK and European property portfolio listed on the London Stock Exchange requires an ambitious management accountant to join a small team of property/management accounts.
Your new role
You will manage a designated portfolio of property, management, and investment companies, responsible for:
- Quarterly period close, review of company trial balances including variance analysis.
- Production of quarterly reports for subsidiaries.
- Development cost reports.
- Management accounts and VAT.
- Quarterly forecasting of rental income and overheads.
- Analyse tenancy statistics and data for inclusion in board reports.
- Annual statutory accounts and production of year-end audit files.
- Assisting the UK Financial Controller with quarterly forecasting of rental income.
- Liaising with the Group tax, consolidations, group property management, treasury tasks, and compliance work.
- Business partnering with Treasury team.
- Day to day interaction with property and asset managers.
- Assist with ad hoc projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or international equivalent accountant, either trained in practice within top 20 or trained in industry or financial services, ideally Property or Real Estate Investment. Ability to get things done, high attention to detail, good team player with the ability to build relationships across the group. It will suit somebody who currently works within an SME and is looking to get into property investment accounting within a PLC.
