Job Description:
Robert Half is partnering with a global sports organisation based in Roehampton to hire a partly qualified management accountant. This full-time role will be based in their Roehampton office three days a week.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit a partly qualified management accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management accounts:
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly management accounts.
- Liaise with department heads and seek insightful commentary on department performance.
- Debtors\’ management and process improvement.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Month End tasks.
- Budgets:
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and half-year forecasts.
- Liaise with departmental managers to understand and improve their financial understanding.
- Write budget, MYR, and forecast commentary detailing variances.
- Audit:
- Assist with audit preparation and schedules for year-end.
- Finance Systems:
- Assist with new accounting system implementation.
- Liaise with other teams to improve, automate, and implement internal controls across finance processes.
- Participate in testing and training for new system features and upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and governance of finance systems and processes.
General Duties:
- Handle ad hoc queries promptly.
- Manage quarterly VAT submissions.
- Prepare minutes for finance committee meetings.
- Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements.
- Work on specific projects as assigned.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude daily.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, actively pursuing full qualification. Candidates should have recent experience in producing management accounts and be comfortable managing purchase and sales ledgers.
Travel Requirement:
Must be able to travel to Roehampton three days a week. The nearest station is Barnes (15-minute walk), with free on-site parking available.

Salary & Benefits:
- Working pattern: 3 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory).
