SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri, 7-4, 8-5, 9-6 (rolling rota)

SALARY: Up to £46,000 per annum

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

This is a site supervisor position responsible for managing and supporting the daily operations at a high-profile customer site in Farnborough. The role involves ensuring operational delivery through efficient work practices and effective task execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with Helpdesk and Management Teams to deliver excellent service, reporting to the ABM Account Manager and/or Contract Manager.
  • Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed with a 100% rate, including statutory and non-statutory tasks.
  • Book third-party specialists as needed, obtaining and reviewing relevant paperwork.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols, as H&S is critical at this site.
  • Manage two direct reports to deliver services to a long-standing ABM customer.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota.
  • Undertake routine, reactive, and additional works as required.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • City & Guilds Technical qualifications in Electrical or relevant Building Services fields.
  • Previous supervisory experience managing engineers and specialists.
  • Experience with CAFM systems.
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills at an intermediate level, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Building Services.
  • Ability to keep site logbooks fully up-to-date.
  • Experience handling routine and emergency M&E building services activities.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Authorised Person certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, LOTO, L8 Water Hygiene, or Multi-Skilled areas.
