If you enjoy a hands-on role and don’t mind working outdoors in all weather conditions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll be paired with a highly experienced team leader who will support your development in the world of clean water.
Activities you will get involved in:
- Excavating and laying new clean water mains
- Butt welding and Electrofusion of new HDPE mains
- Installation of Ductile Iron water mains
- Installation of new water services
- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use, maintained and fully operational
- Ensuring strict adherence to all Clancy Group health, safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Previous experience in water network main laying, with a solid understanding of the construction and water industry.
- CAT and Genny training is required, as well as a full, clean driving licence.
- An NRSWA qualification is highly desirable, along with experience in deep excavation work and knowledge of main laying and undertaking connections onto existing water assets.
