Having been retained by a high-growth, private equity-backed software company who are on an aggressive M&A trajectory. They have multiple acquisitions under their belt and have a strong pipeline, they are looking to build an M&A integration capability to ensure long-term value creation across the portfolio. Our client is seeking a strategic and execution-focused M&A Integration Manager to lead and scale this effort.

You will be responsible for taking ownership of post-deal integration strategy and execution across all acquisitions. Along with playing a pivotal role in driving operational diligence, defining synergy targets, and ensuring seamless integration across business functions. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team and build foundational integration capabilities from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operational due diligence in the pre-deal phase, partnering with Corporate Development and functional leaders.
• Produce clear, actionable synergy assessments and value creation plans to support investment theses.
• Design and implement the Integration Management Office (IMO) framework and governance model.
• Create and maintain a scalable M&A integration playbook to guide future transactions.
• Drive Day 1 readiness planning and execute post-close 100-day integration plans.
• Manage integration of legacy deals, ensuring value realisation and operational alignment.
• Partner cross-functionally across Product, Tech, Finance, HR, GTM, and Legal to align on integration priorities and timelines.
• Continuously improve integration processes and metrics for success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in M&A integration, ideally from a top-tier management consulting firm
• Proven track record of delivering complex post-merger integrations, ideally in the software/SaaS sector.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on operational execution.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving structure in a fast-paced environment.
