We are looking for an innovative, self-starting individual with a passion for working in the busy and dynamic bus industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage replacement buses and coaches to provide journeys to a timetable during rail service disruptions due to pre-planned and emergency requirements.
- Ensure the quality of our customer-focused response.
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support.
- Work effectively with external suppliers and colleagues.
- Maintain a duty of care for health and safety, including reporting unsafe acts or omissions.
- Undertake other duties relevant to the role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to develop effective working relations with suppliers and colleagues.
- Handle high-pressure situations calmly, professionally, and logically.
- Experience in logistics or passenger transport is desirable.
- Willingness to work shifts on a rota basis covering Middle and Late shifts.
- Must own a smartphone device.
Transport UK London Bus operates bus services across London on behalf of TFL, including rail replacement and event services across the UK. We operate approximately 11% of London\’s iconic red bus network, with around 950 vehicles and approximately 2,900 employees across six depots in Central, South, and West London. We serve numerous routes, carrying over 150 million passengers annually on TfL’s contracted bus network.
