Licensing Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market licensing plan with key stakeholders for LBE across EMEA, focusing on IP markets in Europe and the Middle East. Leverage WildBrain's own brands, and third-party brands to create revenue-generating opportunities across various segments, including theme parks, water parks, snow parks, indoor entertainment centers, experiential retail, and F&B.

Business Development: Identify and secure new licensing opportunities within the LBE sector. Build and maintain long-term relationships with LBE Licensees to ensure deals maximize financial returns and align with strategic Licensor objectives and market goals.

Commercial Expertise: Collaborate with potential licensees to assess the feasibility of LBE projects, reviewing financial models and providing strategic insights to advance partnerships. Structure licensing agreements to ensure financial success and brand integrity.

Market Insights & Strategy: Leverage industry trends, competitive movements, and evolving market conditions in the expanding experiences sector to inform and drive strategic decisions. Focus on high-impact opportunities to expand IP market reach in Europe and the Middle East. Use actionable insights to shape and execute WildBrain’s LBE business strategy, ensuring alignment with market dynamics.

Deal Structuring: Negotiate licensing agreements and ensure deals optimize long-term financial returns for both Licensees and Licensors while maintaining brand integrity.

Regional Growth: Drive WildBrain’s LBE business presence across EMEA, positioning the company as a brand-building strategic partner, providing expertise throughout the development journey.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in licensing, business development, investment or a related field, with a commercial background in real estate development related to location-based entertainment.

Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive leader who identifies and pursues new opportunities, driving growth in both established and emerging markets.

Financial Acumen: Proven experience working in evaluating and structuring licensing deals that meet both financial returns and brand standards. Ability to assess the financial decision-making process for LBE ventures.

Commercial Skills: Demonstrated success in deal structuring, contract negotiations, and driving long-term profitable partnerships within the LBE and entertainment sectors.

Education: A degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.

Regional Expertise: Strong knowledge of the EMEA market, with the ability to navigate the complexities of real estate and entertainment fixed-location development, as well as the diverse business culture environments in these regions.

Language Skills: Additional languages spoken within EMEA regions are a plus.
