Join Public Sewer Services as a Lining Operative and be part of a team that has been delivering top-notch drainage services for over 34 years, offering fast, eco-friendly solutions. Specialising in cutting-edge trenchless repairs. From robotic cutting to cure lining, you will work with innovative technology that keeps roads, gardens, and driveways intact.

If you have experience in either Steam Curing, Hot Curing, or Pipe Welding, a HGV Licence would be a bonus, then this could be the role for you! (Don’t worry if not, we also provide training!) There will be heavy lifting and lots of physical work, including confined spaces and working in extreme weather conditions, so you will need to be willing to get stuck in!

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Always conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner.
  • City and Guilds - Confined Spaces (desirable)
  • EUSR SHEA (water - multi-utility as required) - (desirable)
  • NRSWA (new roads and street works act) - (desirable)
  • Experience working in a manual role eg. Groundworks, construction, drainage etc. (desirable)
  • Health and Safety Awareness training / certification (desirable but not essential).
  • Manual Handling, Asbestos, Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Working at Heights current certification (desirable but not essential).
  • HGV licence (desirable but not essential).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • All aspects of drainage including but not limited to:
  • CCTV Surveys
  • High Pressure Water Jetting
  • Patch lining
  • Robotic cutting
  • Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device.
  • Carry out work in line with Company health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Completing Drivers Hours Books and Vehicle Checks (Defect books).
  • General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepared to take on training for the latest UV technology to Line predominately 100mm and 150mm pipes.
  • Working away will be required.
