As a Sound & Lighting Technician, you will work on a range of events of varying scale. You will be based on-site and assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of events such as talks, DJ setups, product launches, charity events, gala dinners, and small live performances.
This role is part-time, 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:- Operate sound and lighting equipment
- Assist the events team with all AV needs
- Maintain equipment to a high standard
- Liaise with Venue GMs to ensure AV needs are met
- Ensure all events have adequate technical support
- Report to the Group Technical Manager on equipment and crew expenditure
- Experience in setting up and operating audio and AV equipment, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment
- Passion for events and technology, with a desire to advance in event production
- Knowledge of Digico Digital mixers, Pioneer DJ equipment, Qsys Systems, and Avolites lighting consoles is desirable
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and a team player
