Dove & Hawk are exclusively working with an independent property agency that deals with the middle to upper end of the PCL London market. With a fantastic office location in Victoria, they are looking for an ambitious lettings negotiator to join the already successful team. This role will suit someone with 24+ months experience in a lettings role who is looking to move into a fast-paced independent environment.
Duties/Functions of the role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both tenants and landlords, overseeing the lettings process from initial inquiry to move-in.
- Conduct property viewings with potential tenants, providing comprehensive and accurate information about the property and its surrounding area.
- Facilitate negotiations between landlords and tenants on rental terms, ensuring mutual satisfaction and agreement on tenancy conditions.
- Offer expert advice to clients on market trends, rental prices, and current conditions to assist with property pricing and marketing strategies.
- Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by tenants, landlords, or contractors, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant lettings regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with the Property Management team to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing management of tenancies.
- There is potential for growth into a combined Sales and Lettings role, offering opportunities for career advancement within the company.
Requirements of the role:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a lettings negotiator role with a demonstrated history of success.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and nurturing client relationships.
- A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of handling a diverse range of tasks.
- Highly organised with strong time management abilities.
- Proficient with computers (experience with Alto/Goodlord is a plus, but full training will be provided).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in every task.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Capable of working independently and managing your time efficiently without constant oversight.
- Professionally presented at all times.
Salary Budgets: £20-24,000 Basic Salary, First year OTE 50-60,000 OTE (Second year OTE of £80,000+), Pooled Car Provided if needed; however, due to location, a driving licence is not necessary for this role.
Required Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (Saturdays are by appointment only).
