Job Description:
The School of Engineering has experienced significant growth in research, teaching, and enterprise activities. To sustain this growth, we are seeking a Lecturer to join our diverse mechanical and manufacturing team. The role involves delivering knowledge and skills in modern materials and manufacturing processes across the school.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in a broad range of engineering materials, modern manufacturing processes, and technologies aligned with Industry 4.0. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and developing courses on engineering materials and their behaviour
- Designing advanced materials
- Implementing modern manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 technologies
Applicants should have a strong research profile, potential for developing internationally recognized research programs, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD, a record of teaching excellence, and interdisciplinary research experience. Candidates with extensive industrial experience are encouraged to apply.
