Learning Assistant

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Learning Assistant to support a KS1 classroom from June on a Full-Time basis.

The Role

You will work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning, supporting high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects. You will also help create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge, working 1:1 and in small groups.

You will be expected to:

1. Communicate with Class Teachers, SENCo, and Parents.
2. Build strong and trustworthy relationships.
3. Put the pupil’s needs and interests first.
4. Adapt activities to meet their needs to ensure they can access their learning.
