Lead Sourcing Specialist

Duration: 6 weeks with the potential of extensions

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: Up to £690.00 p/d Umbrella

Overview

The Lead Sourcing Specialist, Corporate Real Estate & Business Services (CRBS), develops and executes key elements of the category strategy and leads the sourcing process in partnership with executive leadership, ensuring the process aligns with our clients\’ policies and goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive strategic sourcing processes in the CRBS category, including contract negotiations, pricing terms, research, benchmarking, facilitating RFPs, and developing negotiation strategies with internal partners.
  2. Lead cross-functional sourcing projects to define supplier requirements and support supplier selection consensus, including drafting language for contract documents such as SOWs, LOAs, and RFPs.
  3. Establish strong relationships with CRBS leadership and stakeholders; understand strategic directions, requirements, and priorities across spend categories.
  4. Stay informed on trends, best practices, vendor management principles, and regulatory changes affecting suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing and negotiating CRBS agreements or related industry experience in Indirect sourcing, preferably in a Fortune 500 company.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier agreements in categories such as shipping, office services, facilities management, MRO, print, and vehicle fleet.
  • Ability to advocate for stakeholders and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence others.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative leadership skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of working with senior management.
  • Customer-focused, understanding business needs thoroughly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or industry certification.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing procurement or operational best practices.
