About the role

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). We seek a talented Lead/Senior Packaging Designer with 6-8 years of experience in the beauty sector, skilled in branding, primary and secondary packaging, and print collateral. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is essential, along with experience in 2D rendering. 3D rendering skills are a plus. The candidate should be confident in sketching, translating ideas into designs, and managing projects from conception to completion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design ideation and concept development for packaging projects
  • Manage projects independently from start to finish
  • Present design concepts to the Director of Design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including NPD, Packaging Development, and Marketing
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure design feasibility
  • Participate in meetings and review design components
  • Mentor junior team members and set a positive example

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field with 6-8 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; 3D skills are advantageous
  • Creative, with excellent typography, illustration, and design skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
