Lead Interior Designer Job in Central London
A Lead Interior Designer job is immediately available in Central London. This is a 6-month contract job offering a fantastic opportunity to join an Interiors & Architecture practice and lead upcoming commercial/workplace projects. A pro rata salary of £50,000 – £70,000 is available for the perfect candidate.
The practice has a team of interior designers and technical staff that work on projects across London, typically commercial/workplace projects up to 30,000sqft. They are looking for a Lead Interior Designer to manage projects in full, including a small team of designers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage projects across all required stages
- Lead and manage a project team across all stages of design
- Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Oversee and assist in producing technical designs and bespoke joinery detailing
- Attend site visits as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- 7+ years’ experience leading projects, ideally in a traditional design practice
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Revit skills (working knowledge is essential)
- Client facing and on-site experience.
