Are you a skilled Lead Drainage Engineer seeking an exciting career opportunity in London? Vector are recruiting for experienced Lead Drainage Engineers on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading Maintenance Services Provider specializing in comprehensive drainage solutions for both domestic and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring: Offering first line of support for technical issues to other engineers and assisting on larger projects.
  • Emergency and Reactive Call-Outs: Swiftly respond to emergency and reactive call-outs, addressing drainage issues for a diverse range of clients.
  • Advanced Techniques and Tools: Utilize High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling and CCTV Surveys equipment to efficiently resolve drainage problems.
  • Basic Plumbing: Perform small plumbing works such as removing toilets and urinals, replacing isolation valve or toilet components.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the drainage industry resolving internal and external blockages and basic plumbing experience, minimum of 5+ years within a drainage environment.
  • Technical Competence: Experience utilizing electro-mechanical and CCTV equipment as well as performing basic plumbing tasks.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Punctuality: Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.

Working Hours:

  • Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
  • Night Shifts: 4 nights a month.
  • Weekends: 1 weekend a month.
  • On-Call Duty: 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Overtime Rates: 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Friday.
  • Double-Time Pay: Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Company Vehicle: Fully equipped company vehicle provided.
