Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, serving their customers through diverse business units. KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects. We have an opportunity for a Technical Studies Engineer to support work under contract. The position is based in KBR’s Leatherhead Campus with hybrid working (3 days in office minimum). The role offers an attractive hourly rate. This is a contract assignment and is deemed to be outside of IR35, although this will be determined by Qdos assessment. Candidates are required to have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- High Level Package Procurement
- Procurement of critical procurement packages and bulks
- Market Surveillance for all Project related Equipment Supply
- Pre-qualification coordination with vendor and inter disciplines
- Management of Vendor Milestone Certificates and Contract Completion Certificates
- Contractual terms and conditions clarifications
- Creation of RFQ/ITT documents against client led Purchase Order and Contract Awards
- Key interface meetings with client and project management
- Weekly and monthly reporting to all stakeholders
- Attend and manage kick-off meetings with suppliers
- Administration of Purchase Order and Contract Awards
- General Procurement and Contracts Administration both manual and electronic
- Coordination of all disciplines to provide Technical and Commercial closure prior to award
- Management of Approved Vendor Lists
- Manage all governance processes and procedures from client EPCm contract
- Supplier surveillance and reporting to category management
Relationships:
- Works with multi-discipline Project team
- Liaison with Client and stakeholders
- Supervision and management of other Procurement personnel
Education & Experience:
- Education: Educated to a sufficient level to perform the required tasks
- Full knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of SAP and IPMS is an advantage
- Experience: Experience within Oil & Gas projects for a minimum of 15 years
- Knowledge in KBR Contracting and Implementation processes is an advantage
- Previous demonstrable experience in EPC and EPCm Contracts
- Knowledge and experience in LNG projects is an advantage
