The role requires a driven, motivated, and enthusiastic team member who possesses a key attention to detail. The function of the role is to provide administrative support to our Employment Law Consultants, with regards to the transcribing and editing of audio recordings.
Job Overview: This role involves working both independently and as part of a dedicated team; cross-referencing, editing, and accurately transcribing audio recordings taken by our Employment Law Consultants, concerning client meetings. You will collaborate with the Department’s leadership team to improve standards, including SLA compliance and the quality of work produced. Transcripts must be completed within an internal SLA timeframe, and effective communication with the wider Face2Face Department is essential for smooth service delivery. Reviewing audio recordings offers a valuable insight into Employment Law and could serve as a great first step for someone aspiring to build a career in HR.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Cross-reference AI-generated transcripts with recordings from Employment Law Consultants’ meetings, ranging from informal meetings (Welfare and Investigations) to formal hearings (Disciplinaries, Appeals, etc).
- Work alongside a team of audio typists to ensure deadlines are met and recordings are transcribed verbatim.
- Communicate efficiently with Employment Law Consultants and the wider Face2Face Department.
- Support with transcription inquiries (internal and external).
- Log and accurately update Transcription Service records.
- Assist the Operations Manager and Head of Face2Face Operations in developing the team and service.
- Support and coach new or struggling team members to meet SLA’s.
- Collaborate with Consultants to manage client expectations effectively.
- Contribute to team objectives, including securing repeat business.
