We are currently recruiting for a boutique Financial Planning practice in London that is looking to recruit a Junior Paraplanner.

They are searching for a Junior Paraplanner to join their Paraplanning team, where you will assist Senior Paraplanners in the preparation of suitability reports, undertaking research, maintaining client files, and preparing correspondence. This role involves working closely with Advisers, so strong communication and written skills are essential.

A boutique Independent Financial Adviser firm dedicated to supporting the needs of clients. They work collaboratively as a team to implement recommendations that align with clients’ objectives.

Their clients’ portfolio sizes typically range from £200,000 to £20 million. In this role, you will have exposure to a varied level of work that is challenging but exciting.

You will have the opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and skills. You will join a young, dynamic team where your focus will be assisting Senior Paraplanners with simpler suitability reports and annual reviews, with potential for progression into a full Paraplanning position.

Requirements

• Ideally, you will have completed the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or have completed at least two exams towards it.
• Technically astute and financially aware.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments.
• A self-starter capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage workload within deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing basic suitability reports.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with familiarity with platforms and FE Analytics. Experience with Intelligent Office is advantageous.
• Ideally, 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Paraplanner in an IFA environment.
