Our client, a bank based in Central London, is looking to recruit a Junior Compliance Officer. You will have at least 1 to 3 years of experience working in a financial or banking environment as a Compliance Assistant or Compliance Officer. The position will report to the Head of Risk and Compliance at the Bank.

Key Skills Required:

  • A strong understanding of UK regulations/rulebooks, specifically the PRA, CRD, and FCA Conduct requirements, and the ability to interpret regulations within a bank.
  • Knowledge of country and industry specifics in banking.
  • An ability to work proactively, taking initiative with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), reasoning, and influencing skills.
  • Experience of undertaking compliance monitoring reviews and producing compliance monitoring reports to document compliance with internal and external regulations/process.
  • Any certification in AML or Compliance would be an added advantage.
