Job Title: Joiners Mate

Contract Length: 3 days work only (3rd – 5th June)

Shifts: 09:00 – 18:00 (unless otherwise specified). Guaranteed 9 hours work per day.

Location: Stockton On Tees (TS19 0BJ)

Pay rate: £17.36 per hour

Main Duties

• Be able to bolt and unbolt Royal Mail sorting Frames.
• Handle A Frames, approximately 5 ft high, 6 ft wide, weighing around 45 kg, made of steel.
• Use a drill to unscrew and screw bolts into Frames.
• With colleague support, move and reposition sorting Frames.
• Under the direction of a Royal Mail lead, apply Vinyl Wrap and Duct Tape onto sorting Frames.
• Load and unload vehicles (large vans) at operational sites.

Key Skills

• Ability to follow clear instructions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards.
• Use tools such as Impact Drivers, Drills, Stanley Knives, and measuring tools.
• Show agility and adaptability with support from the Royal Mail Lead.
• Physically fit.
• Punctuality and flexibility based on work requirements.
