Controls Engineer Expectations

The expectation in Controls Engineering is that candidates must be proper Engineers, focusing on site reliability with communication skills to be business-facing. However, engineering should be the primary focus.

Although they won’t be developing application code, they must be able to assist application teams in fixing individual applications. Additionally, they may be responsible for implementing SRE internal services to support the SRE mission and provide a consistent platform to the wider CE engineering team.
